TECHNIQUES

Neutral Stance

Stand with feet shoulder width apart, shoulders square, toes pointing forward and knees slightly bent.

Tan Sao

The tan sao is a palm up block with your arm projecting out from the center line at a forty-five degree angle, wrist straight, fingers and thumb tucked tightly together.

Ping Choy

The ping choy is the basic vertical strike of Wing Chun, differing from the horizontal strike taught in many other forms.

Pak Sao

The Pak Sao is a vertical palm slapping block.  To execute this technique, bring your blocking arm across your body with palm open vertically, fingers and thumb together and wrist straight.  Slap away opponents strike from entering your center-line.
